"What
can make a young, vibrant girl believe that beauty is something she has
to buy and not something that she already obtains?"It was
this question that started me on this exciting journey, and I have had
to reflect on many more questions of this nature ever since.
Stephanie Heart is an advocate, social entrepreneur and creative director who combines creativity with passion to present a message of true beauty, value and worth. She uses innovative illustrations to explore complex themes. Her projects have exposed the dark side to the beauty industry; spoken out about the objectification of women in advertisement; engaged women and the wider community in analysing the impact of the media surrounding them.
Stephanie Heart's most recent projects have been; working as the principal designer and film producer for the Endangered Species International Summit “ES” (London, England). With her latest short film for ES featuring twice academy-award winner Emma Thompson, Stephanie Heart has managed to reach thousands. She created a Model-meter which unities women to break the mould and visually proclaims that 1size does not fit all. Rooted in her Christian faith and motivated by the voices of those in her community, Stephanie Heart has been recognised locally and invited to talk internationally and at the age of 23 has flourished into an inspirational role model for many.
